VI. Use and analytics tools

Websites sometimes use cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not cause viruses. Cookies are intended to make our service more pleasant, efficient and secure. Cookies are small text files which are placed on your computer and stored by your browser.

Most cookies we use are known as “session cookies”, which are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies shall remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognise your browser when you next visit.

You can configure your browser so that you are informed of the installation of cookies and only to authorise them on a case by case basis, to exclude cookies in specific circumstances or systematically, and to automatically delete cookies when you close your browser. Deactivating cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

Cookies

  • Cookies de session
    • We use what are known as cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies which are placed and saved on your device by the Internet browser you use. Some of your information, such as data concerning your browser, your location or your IP address, is processed individually by these cookies.
    • This processing makes our website more pleasant, efficient and secure, and allows us, for instance, to reproduce our site in different languages or to offer a shopping basket function.
    • The legal basis for this processing is Article 6, paragraph 1 b) of the GDPR, to the extent that this cookie data is processed for the preparation or execution of a contract.
    • If this processing is not for the purpose of preparation or execution of a contract, our legitimate interest is in improving the functionality of our website. The legal basis is therefore Article 6, paragraph 1 f) of the GDPR.
    • Session cookies are deleted when you close your web browser.
  • Third-party
    • In the context of our website, cookies from our partner companies may also be used. These are companies we work with for the purposes of advertising, analytics or operating our website.
    • To know more about this topic, particularly regarding the purposes and legal basis for processing such third-party cookies, please consult the information below..
  • Deletion option
    • You may prevent or restrict the installation of cookies by configuring your web browser accordingly. Equally, you may delete cookies already saved at any time. However, the steps and measures required to this effect depend on the specific web browser you use. If you have any questions, we invite you to consult the help function or documentation on your web browser, or to contact the manufacturer or support service. For Flash cookies, however, we cannot prevent processing via browser settings. In that case, you must modify your Flash player configuration. Here, too, the steps and measures required to this effect also depend on the specific Flash player you use. If you have any questions, we invite you to consult the help function or documentation on your Flash player, or to contact the manufacturer or support service.
    • If you prevent or limit the installation of cookies, however, it is possible that you may no longer be able to use all the functions of our website in full.
  • Linking to social media using icons or text links
    • On our website, we also highlight the fact that we are present on the social networks mentioned below. In this context, this is integrated by means of an icon linking to the network in question.
    • The use of these icons allows us, in the event of consultation of a website providing advertising for social media, to avoid the automatic establishment of a connection with the server of the relevant social network, and thus to solely display the icon representing the network in question. Users are only redirected towards the services of the social network concerned once they have clicked on the relevant icon.
    • Once the user has been redirected, their information is collected by the network in question. In this context, we cannot rule out the possibility that data collected in this way may be processed in the United States.
    • This data initially includes the IP address, the page accessed and the date and time of access. If, when they visit the website, the user is already logged into their user account for the network in question, the operator of said network may, where applicable, link the specific information collected on the occasion of their visit with their personal user account. If the user interacts via the “Share” button of the relevant network, this information may be saved on the user's personal account, or published where applicable. If the user wishes to prevent the information collected from being directly linked to their user account, they must log out from said account before clicking the icon. It is also possible to configure the user account to this effect.

The following social networks are integrated into our website using links::

Flatfox

The following company is responsible in principle for the processing of data on flatfox.ch

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics on our website.

Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as “Google”.
By being certified by the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active

Google guarantees that European data protection standards are also respected when data is processed in the United States.

The purpose of the Google Analytics service is to analyse user behaviour on our website. The legal basis is Article 6, paragraph 1 f) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest is in the analysis, optimisation and profitable operation of our website.

Information concerning use and users, such as the IP address, location, and the time or the frequency of visits to our website, are transmitted to a Google server in the United States, where they are saved. However, we use Google Analytics with the function known as anonymisation. This function allows Google to truncate the IP address when the data is still in the EU and EEA.

Data collected in this way is used once again by Google to supply us with an analysis of visits to our website and usage activity on our site. Equally, this data may be used to supply other services linked to using our website and the Internet.
Google states that it does not link your IP address to other data. In addition, at the following address: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners

Google also provides you with other legal information related to data protection, particularly options for preventing usage of data.

In addition, at the following address: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

Google offers a deactivation add-on, as well as other information. This add-on is installed with common Internet browsers and offers you an additional option for monitoring the data Google collects when you access our website. In this context, the add-on informs the JavaScript (ga.js) of Google Analytics that information concerning the visit to our website must not be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, this does not prevent the information being transmitted to us or other web analytics services. You shall of course also be informed by this Confidentiality Policy of any other web analytics services we use.

Google-Maps

On our website, we use Google Maps to depict our geographical location, that of the buildings involved and to describe how to reach us. Google Maps is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as “Google”.

By being certified by the EU-US Privacy Shield,
https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active

Google guarantees that European data protection standards are also respected when data is processed in the United States.

To enable the display of certain fonts on our website, a connection to the Google server in the United States is established when you visit our website.

When you consult the Google Maps elements integrated into our website, Google stores a cookie on your device via your web browser. Your parameters and user data are processed to display our location and establish an itinerary. We cannot exclude the possibility that Google uses servers in the US to that effect.

The legal basis is Article 6, paragraph 1 f) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest is in optimising the functions of our website.

The connection thus established with Google may permit it to work out the website from which your request was sent and to which IP address the itinerary must be transmitted.

If you object to this processing, you may prevent installation of cookies by configuring your web browser accordingly. You will find all the information on this topic under “Cookies”.

The use of Google Maps and information obtained via Google Maps is also subject to Google’s Terms of Use:

https://policies.google.com/terms?gl=DE&hl=de
and general terms and conditions for Google Maps:

VIII. Your rights

If you have any questions or comments, you can contact our data protection officer directly by email protectiondesdonnees@regimo.ch

You can obtain information on the data we have stored concerning you and the way in which it is processed. In the event that data is inaccurate or incorrect, you can request that it be rectified or erased.

You can also object to the processing of your personal data by contacting us.

If you wish to lodge a complaint with our supervisory authority, you must contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner:
